Welcome to the Early Music Second-Hand Marketplace

The Second-Hand Marketplace
We offer a low cost while very efficient, simple and speedily service to buyers and sellers of historical instruments.

We maintain an updated listing where you can publish your offering or your demand. The listing is mailed to our huge database of interested customers and is reproduced in full on our website. Once in contact, seller and buyer agree on the transaction and RWC doesn't intervene.

There is not exclusivity agreement with us and you can sell or advert your instrument through any other broker. You are only required to notify us immediately when the instrument is sold, so that we can remove it from our listings.

Our fares for buyers
There is no charge for buying an instrument in our Second-Hand Marketplace. Only the seller pays a tiny amount. If you want to buy an instrument, you have two options: You can publish a free advert in our board or you can answer to any of the sellers offering an instrument of your interest.

Our fares for sellers
We charge only 30 euros for listing your instrument for a one year period or until it is sold. For that price you can add a complete description and detailed pictures.

You will straightway get for free the contact with all the buyers interested in your advertisement.

If you prefer browsing our buyer list and select one of them, we will pass you the contact details. This will cost you only 2 euros for each advertised buyer of your interest.

How we compare
We compare very favourably with other specialised brokers and publications. Make the comparisons  and convince yourself. The followings are typical examples:

Your instrument is sold at 3000 €
With others that charge a typical percentage of 15%, your cost is 450 euros, and your net income is 2550 euros. Because of our flat fare of 30 euros, selling with us you get a net income of 2970 euros. You get much more money.

You want 4250 € for your instrument
With us you can advertise it for 4280 euros. With others that charge a typical percentage of 15%, your have to advertise it for 5000 euros. Buyers find the same instruments cheaper in our Marketplace and you sell your instrument quicker with us.

I want to publish an advert
In the main menu, at the top of these webpages, you can find an appropriate link depending on if your interest is in selling or buying an instrument.
